| In mid-Spring of 1999 on top of a small Ozark Mountain in Eastern Douglas county Missouri, Ozark Rock Exchange was born. Surrounded by the Mark Twain National Forest and its residents, I began an inspirational journey to satisfy a life-long love and curiosity for our Earth and Her gifts.
In addition to providing the perfect backdrop to write about gemstones and crystals the forest ultimately gave me stories to tell as well. From my visits with the forests came the building blocks for the Woman Who Walks stories. You can find these stories and seven years of gemstone research in the ORE FEATURES archives.
Life is a journey of changes and today Ozark Rock Exchange finds itself in Memphis Tennessee. I am excited at the potential that being in a large metropolitian area offers O>R.E.. Looking forward to getting to know a new city, new people and a whole new set of mountains, forests and the folks that live here.
